We checked in on two different occasions and our rooms were of different quality. The room was satisfactory for the first occasion but the second one was a very old room. TV was way too old and so was the bathroom. Pressure of water was good though. Heater was working well too. Did not like atmosphere of the room. Definitely not worth the money. It definitely is at good location. Only about 10 minutes drive to Taipei 101. Less than 10 minutes to Raohe night market. Taxis were easy to get at the hotel. Breakfast was just so-so. Atmosphere at lobby was not good. However, it does have one 7-Eleven outlet at the lobby.

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms

Lobby is fair, but did not manage to have any breakfast experience because it is not too cheap. Probably it is because there were too many mainlanders and kids tour, the lifts were always slow and full. Just hate the hotel letting kids running and screaming around but they did nothing to stop them.
In general, the room was fair and just for the sake of stay.

Pros-
1. Easy access to/from Taoyuan airport via Freego bus.
2. 24h Convenience store located at hotel lobby.
3. Attached to Breeze shopping mall with food court for convenience.
4. Nice and spacious lobby with spdctacular atrium.
5. Room size was good.
6. Staff was apologetic when they could not attend to us immediately.

Cons-
1. Far (500m) walk to Nanjing East Metro.
2. Housekeeping fail to replace new towel on one night.
3. Poor condition of room. Faulty power sockets, dirty curtains and unsightly balcony. Worn and dated room furnitures. No hand towels.
4. Hotel staff barge into our room on one occassion when we are in the room. (Room 757)

Not a pleasant experience. Not be staying here again.

The minute you walk into the hotel, you find the lobby quite welcoming, the room we stayed has two king-sized beds, the room is quite spacious and clean, some rooms are newly renovated and pretty nice, and the service is excellent. If you are staying for a few days, i recommend you to try out their dinner buffet, which is quite good for the price you pay. It is strategically located in some shopping areas and good restaurants nearby.

The hotel is situated in a very good location. You can get to all major attractions within 6 to 10 minutes. The interior is really dated, but for the price, you could do a lot worse.

The property is in the middle of updating everything. We stayed on the floor/wing that has been recently upgraded. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and with quite high cealings.

If you're looking for a good deal, this is the place to book.

Room Tip: ask for a recently renovated room. Executive floor is good. 12th floor.

I had apprehensions when reading the reviews on how old and smelly the hotel is. I am here on business and stayed at the executive rooms on the 12th floor. My room is clean and spacious, without the smell. I believe some of the rooms are renovated as mine looks quite new. It is clean, comfortable and they provide an executive lounge for breakfast, complimentary 2 hour meeting rooms and happy hours, where guests are being provide free tidbits and drinks. Overall, this is not a bad experience and I would recommend this hotel. It is also quite strategically located.

This was my eigth visit to this large hotel in Taipei. It is very well situated, only a five minute walk from the MTR station.
The rooms are spotlessly clean and of a very generous size.I was actually upgraded to a suite which was an added bonus but the standard rooms are good and well equipped. The rooms are quite well soundproofed so corridor noise is unusual. Bathroom of a totally acceptable standard. The lighting is just ok.
Breakfast buffet is very good usually, unless you want breakfast at the same time as a large tour party-of which many use this hotel. On these occasions (frequently) they do struggle a little to keep everything stocked up.
I have not used any other restaurant in the hotel, but i hear they are quite good.
