I stayed here for 3 nights for business and was very impressed mostly because it was hassle free from check in to check out. The rooms were quite large and modern. I had free wifi which was good for several devices.

The location is very good, right across the street from Taipei 101.

My only complaint was that I heard all of the noise from the halls (doors closing, people talking) so there wasn't a lot of sound buffering in the rooms. I have had this issue at other hotels, but it seemed more so at this hotel.

Great location next to 101 Tower and shops. Staff superb and are the heart of the hotel. Be very careful of the prolonged refurbishment and check their web site. I am surprised a hotel of this standard has reopened with such major work being undertaken. There is still much going on. Airport bus stop is at the hotel and remarkably cheap.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I returned becuse I was very pleased with my first stay. However, the hotel had just begun an extensive refurbishment and so the executive club was in a temporary area, night club closed and the hotel was deserted as a result of a typhoon. I arrived at 1030pm to find all but one of the restaurants was closed. Service was professional and friendly and I look forward to a return in 2013 when the refurbishment has got over the worst and I fully expect it to be the best hotel in Taipei. Meanwhile I shall decamp to The W for my next stay.

Room Tip: check which floors have completed refurbishment and ensure you will be well away from the disturbanc...

Had a week stay in Grand Hyatt. Good staff and nice rooms. Near to everything including Taipei 101 and MRT for travel.
As WiFI was free for me (due to platinum member) I would say speed was good. I didnt had any problem at all at this hotel. Breakfast was awesome and much better than what I expected.
Would give 10/10 to staff including at checkout employee, business center and concierge.

The hotel is up for redecoration and it probably needs it. Fast check in, choice of rooms offered. Room neutral and clean, old fashioned but fine.
Spa and pool are really nice and worth a visit.
Charging for wifi is really old fashioned and kind of irritating. The signal is not so strong. The fashion crowd obviously heading to the nearby W hotel, This might be a good family choice .

Nice hotel and good location if you stay around the 101 area. Not what one would expect of a Grand Hyatt hotel as it is not as grand as the other Grand Hyatts in different parts of the world but since the price is not as grand as well, so it is not a problem. It is a very nice hotel by Taipei standards. The rooms are clean and staff are helpful.

It was one of the best hotel inTaipei! Right in the heart of Taipei city, have a connecting bridge with the one of the tallest building in the world Taipei 101. In the lobby area they have a piece beautiful wood craft art and the service was good and fast. My view from the room window is the Taipei 101 itself! Walking distance to every major attraction surround Taipei. And it was great to stay here. And overall is Great!
