Difference in service is all about details, such as caring about giving umbrellas to customers in rainy days, providing a fresh fruit basket upon arrival; the facilities are quiet, clean, and smart. Cosy small hotel very close to subway. Nice breakfast, though crowded at 8. Free glass of wine between 6 and 7.30. And the nec plus ultra is that you can take the subway and by in convenience stores with your room electronic card. Even go to the zoo and take maokong gondola! The nespresso in the room is a very good thing.

For close to two decades, I have visited Taipei on business and never stayed at a hotel like this, which would be a great find anywhere. When my confused taxi driver first sidled up to a MacDonald's, I thought he must truly be lost. But, down a narrow alley, you enter another world of calm, cosseted modernity.

You can hold informal business meetings in the lobby, which is nicely segmented to give a sense of privacy and comfortable, with complementary beverages and lovely snacks readily available. The staff is very discreet and attentive.

Underscoring all of the reviews below, the rooms are wonderful, perfectly appointed, with little details that so many hotels neglect, like plenty of outlets. There were thoughtful treats at every turn. I only wish I could have spent more time enjoying the room and had a chance to try the breakfast, which sounds great. But, never mind, I'll be back.

I can honestly say, hands down, this was my favorite hotel ever! We were early for check-in by a couple hours, but the staff sent us for a cup of coffee in their beautiful dining area and was back with our room keys in minutes. The hotel was immaculate and there was thorough attention to detail in every aspect. Our room was gorgeous and the bathroom was wonderful with an amazing rain shower.

Throughout our entire stay, the lobby staff went out of their way to make sure we were accommodated. They made recommendations and reservations for two different restaurants that were both delicious. The Szechuan restaurant they suggested exceeded our expectations and were waiting at the door for us to walk there. They were overly accommodating and provided a discount as well. The hotel also recommended a spa for massages and had a car come pick us up on a moment's notice. They gave great information on other attractions and followed up the next day to see how we liked our adventure.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and very tasty. The wait staff were extremely attentive, but did not care if you just wanted to hang out at the table and drink coffee for a couple of hours. Which reminds me, there was always coffee, espresso, and cookies available throughout the entire day as well as a Nespresso machine in the room. We had fresh fruit delivered to our room nightly and they provided free bottled water which was great for taking out for daily adventures.

The staff exceeded our expectations in every way and a good majority of them were fluent in English. I could not be happier with our stay here and would jump at a chance to stay here again.

It is a small hotel that is not on hotel maps and most people do not know where it is located, however, all you have to do is find the Brother Hotel (big hotel that is easy to find) and it is right behind it. We flew into TPE which is about a 40 minute bus ride. Take the Evergreen Bus from the airport to the Nanjing East Rd. Metro stop and it is only a 2 minute walk. The bus cost about $5 a person. The hotel is right by the Metro (which is also cheap) allowing easy access to the Taipei Zoo, in particular.

Loved everything about Taipei and this hotel!

Stayed here for two nights. I chose this hotel solely based on the reviews here and was not disappointed. The staff was helpful and friendly. I stayed in the Standard room which is the smallest, but the bathroom still features both a shower and a Japanese style bath. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Free wi-fi, bottled water and daily fresh fruits are all provided.

The best service of this hotel is the option to have an Easy Card integrated room key card. The hotel would charge the card with a certain amount of money so one can use the integrated key card to travel on the public transport and make small purchases in some shops. The actual amount of money used is settled at check-out. With this card I didn't need to carry much cash as I could make small purchases using this and others using my credit card.

Location-wise, the hotel is situated right next to a MRT station, however note that one has to change MRT lines to most traveler destinations in Taipei. The hotel is also right next to a convenience store, a 24-hour McDonalds and a small shopping centre with many food outlets, so finding something to eat nearby would not be an issue at all, and the hotel offers a midnight snack room service anyway.

The breakfast was quite good with a made-to-order egg menu, but the spread is on the small side and it may be weird to some that you don't find bacon and sausages there but you have chicken nuggets instead.

An excellent hotel overall. I would highly recommend this to leisure and business travelers. It would even be better if an in-room safe was provided.

Stayed here a few nights. Unfortunately my stay got cut short due to an approaching typhoon, which meant I had to get to my next destination quickly before the airports closed and I had to check out a day early. The hotel staff were great, helped me change the booking, and not charging unnecessary late fees for cancelling.

The hotel itself was great, very quiet, tucked down a small side street. Great staff, all very helpful. Clean modern rooms, nice touches (Nespresso Machine, Ipod dock), great bathroom, very quiet, comfortable beds. The lobby area was a nice place to sit and relax. Wifi included.

Location was fine - just minutes walk to Nanjing East Metro. I also walked to Taipei 101, although it was a fair way (maybe 30 minutes walk). Plenty of shops on the way though, and loads of food options.

Will stay here again.

All hotels under the chain never fail to impress. Love the contemporary decor, very friendly and helpful service staff and convenient location of this small and cosy boutique hotel. Entrance is in a discrete corner off a small road so some taxi drivers may have problems locating it. Features a nice outdoor terrace to enjoy your complimentary pre-dinner drinks.

They serve the best breakfast among all Taiwan hotels I have stayed in. Not an elaborate intercontinental spread like those in the bigger 5-star hotels but it's good quality local fare. They serve good quality coffee and the porridge was awesome. I would return just for that.

It's located at the corner of a small street, off of the main road... Its very discrete and if you weren't looking for it, you won't even notice there's a hotel there. Even the lobby is simple and unassuming, there is only one small lift, but as soon as you get off the lift at your floor, the scent fresh jasmine welcomes you! I get to the room and I was astounded by how big and so well-appointed the suite is. The bed has got to be bigger than king size, if that exists! It could be a double queen put together, as I've never seen bed so big! The sitting area is very nice, fresh fruits like kiwi, orange and pears were presented on the table. The toilet was something else! The toilet is like the ones you see in Japan with all the buttons and heated seats, the works! Absolutely nice room. The front desk try very hard to be helpful but most of them have very limited Englsh, but we did manage to find our way anyways. Highly recommended!
