The Regent is a big, quite ritzy hotel that also delivered good service. It is pretty well situated in Taipei. The room was a very good size, the breakfast was outstanding (all styles carted for - European, Chinese or full English) and the staff were helpful and friendly. The public areas are grand and impressive. The only downside was that the lighting in the room was poor ( bed was comfortable though).
Overall, a good place to stay for business or leisure.
