“special theme restaurant around~watch your step”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2013

i was here for deja vu restaurant at night time. there were quite a few restaurant that have strong artistic feel. out there was a big field and people like to sit down and chit chat with friends in group. watch your step while you walk because night time the lighting wasn't that bright. some of the edge of field is a slop down and no stairs. just be careful while you walk here.

“Wonderful Place”

I loved the design shops, the documentary festival, chilled out bars around the area. Just a great hangout place full of art.

“A fun night”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2013 via mobile

My wife went here on the suggestion by a local. We went during the night and had a great time. We walked up to the area from the subway and first spotted a national graphic display. It was probably more active during the day. On our right under the bridge was a small skate park full of ppl. As we walked in, we saw a pizza spot called alley cats. What a nice spot! Best pizza I've had in years and the beer is good. After dinner, we found the music venue "Legacy" which had a good show so we got tickets.

“Great place to wonder around on a rainy weekend”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2013

If you're in Taipei and looking for things to do on a rainy weekend this is a great option because you can wander between most of the buildings without getting soaked. It is an artsy area with assorted free and paid exhibits. Check out the free exhibit of bronze sculptures called: Theatre of Absurdity, running till 4-Sep-2013. The are many cool little coffee shops (try the Creative Hotspot tucked way in a corner that is almost impossible to find), great restaurants and small shops that sell interesting things. This place is very kid friendly with assorted art activities for both adults and kids. Plenty of interesting photo opportunities while you stroll between the old warehouses.

By the way, this is very close to the Guang Hua Digital Plaza (Taipei's electronic market). It is just 3 to 4 minute walk between the two, so you can enjoy both on a weekend afternoon.

“In merge into the fun arty side of Taipei”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2013

Weekend noon/afternoon is a good time to visit with booth set up selling locally design and produced goods. Be it from handicraft to home bake muffin, this is where you can relax and enjoy exhibitions or festival which may be on every now & then
