A fun place to try dishes with tea cooked as one of the ingredients. Dim sum style of small dishes are interesting to treat guests. There are branches in Canada so guess the creativity works well.

It was hot and humid, so we stopped into Cha for Tea for an orange juice and a green tea with fruit.

Both were great, very good flavors.
Good prices and not too busy!

So, in Taiwan, this place is actually not that bad. However, here in Irvine, the food & drinks are only mediocre if comparing to Taiwan flavor standard.

Bubble milk tea is terrible when comparing to Class 302(less amount with not so right flavor.) Food is ok-ish. It's not fantastic but if you really want some Taiwanese cuisine...and you're not able to go down to Class 302 that's about less than 2 miles away, guess Cha For Tea is the place to go. The staff here is very friendly though. Been here a couple of times, but it's not the place I'd go back again for its food.

Cha For Tea's speciality is tea-based cuisine, from tempura tea leaves as a snack to tea oil flavoured noodles. All of it is very tasty and there are reasonable veggie options.

We went here for lunch. Food was good (I had green tea chicken and the lycee mousse). It was a nice experience, but we found the price was high. You can eat just as well or better all over Taipei. Service was slow.
