“Pandas”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

The Taipei Zoo is a must for anyone who loves animals and flowers. The zoo is well laid out and an easy walk. Once you pay your approximate $2 ticket for entry, you are given a separate ticket for entrance into the panda exhibit. I arrived close to opening and went straight to the panda exhibit. They staff have lines set up based on your time of entry. The exhibit is well organized and you follow a path through the outdoor and indoor exhibits. Everyone has the opportunity to view the pandas and take photos on your way through. In addition to the pandas, there are a multitude of animals including penguins and a bird watching area. There are plenty of bathrooms, picnic facilities, snack bars and gift shops. There is even a McDonald’s (which was very popular) and a 7 Eleven store.

“Not too bad”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

The zoo was rather big but entrance ticket is really one of the lowest in the world.
Was crowded on a Saturday afternoon, visited the panda, elephant and koala enclosures. Nice friendly staffs at the giftshop. Good for a visit if you have ample time during your trip in Taipei

Vast grounds, loads of walking, beautiful scenery and even a baby panda!
It was really inexpensive...only £1.20 per adult...

“Fine quick trip”
Reviewed February 8, 2014

Not an amazing zoo as it lacks great habitats for most of the animals, but a fine 1/2 day attraction with the kids. Lots of walking, as the exhibits aren't very efficiently arranged. Got to see the baby panda, which was fun, and they handle the crowds well with the ticket and time system, even if it means only a walk-by look.
