“They made us feel at home for a two month stay in Taipei this summer!”
Reviewed September 17, 2010

We stayed at this hotel for almost two months while our daughter attended school in Taipei this summer. The staff was just so friendly and accomodating, the place is brand new and modern, very clean and the location is awesome. There is a subway station that will open in the near future only a few blocks from it. I was travelling with my five year daughter so we would catch a cab to the nearest subway station but bus stations are also very conveniently located behind the park nearby. There is also a good supermarket and local restaurants/fast food/chain restaurants at a short walking distance. Just the perfect place for long term stays! Don't forget to ask for the voucher for swimming in a great olympic pool across the street from the hotel (inside a school but open to the public).

A safe, clean, creative environment. An inspired approach to guest room furnishings -- nice to come home to a place with artistic flair. The rooms provide "escape" from meetings and urban surroundings. Rooms are spacious and very well maintained. Very professional and courteous staff. Wi-fi in rooms works great.

The hotel is newly opened for a few months. It's in modern style, extremely clean, comfortable bed, especially the pillow, Polite staff, and fast wifi.

It's in a quite street, but the city centre is just close by taking taxi for around NT100. Taxi is always standby outside the hotel.

A convenient store is just next to the hotel, really convenient.

It's in very very reasonable price!! Worthy!!

Meant to write this but some how did not get to do it.. so now i am penning down the thought I had with the place when we were there 2006 April.

The place - not near to any train stop. If it is not that there were 4 of us we will have a hard time. We have been taking taxi all the while when we were there.

Even we had requested for double bed but we were given twin. The bed is hard and no comfy. The toilet has no amenities other than a small sachet of shampoo. We had to pop by 7-11 to buy one. No view so don't bother with the window.

Breakfast - for the 4 days there we had almost the same things every morning. Quality of food was no good and sometime too salty. The only saving grace is that their coffee is quite decent.

Front desk - not very helpful. Lift was old. Everytime I step in I pray that it will not stop half way.

The room was old and very crappy; the bathroom was the worst i have ever seen in a hotel. It was so old and it just looked worn and thus dirty. It probably wasn't but it looked like it was - old brown - yuck!! The breakfast was the best part and that wasnt great. It was so so chinese breakfast with a few other things thrown in to make it seem "western".

I would never reccomend this place to anyone, and felt very disappointed when i realised that i had paid over 2000NT for this standard of hotel. Seriously, i have stayed in much nicer motels. In Taiwan they have a lot of business motels that are clean, more modern and cheap. Infact there are several of these hotels within walking distance of the viscount. Go there. You can get a room with a jacuzzi style bath, and simple but nicer breafast. Sorry Viscount!!
