“Modern, beautiful rooms !!”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

Stayed here during my business trip to Taiwan. A new modern hotel with beautiful rooms. I was pleasantly surprised to find two massage chairs in my room and an electronic automatic toilet (wc). Breakfast was average (only once choice of cereals and 2 fruit options). There is no spa in the hotel which was a let down. Otherwise a nice hotel may be a wee bit expensive.

Room Tip: I stayed in an Executive Queen Room with 101 view. Not sure if the massage chairs and electronic toi...

This hotel is quite new and modern. It's classified as a boutique hotel in that it only has a bistro that mainly caters for breakfast. The lobby area is actually quite decent size with a few couches and chairs that make guests feel welcomed.
Not like the many hotels in Hong Kong that have no couches or chairs in the lobby and discourage anyone from stayingnthere and must go to the lobby lounge if you want to sit but then you have to pay very high prices for your drinks.
You need to insert your room key card into the elevator slot to access to your floor and only your floor.
It makes you feel very safe. And it is very quiet in this area and this hotel. It's located across the street from the Dai An MTR station, a short walk away. From there you can pretty much get to anywhere in Taipei.
Breakfast is nothing to write home about because it only has a bistro type kitchen so the food selection is very limited, but probably sufficient. There's scrambled eggs, bacon, susage, fried noodles, rice, congee, bread/toast, fruit etc.
Room size is OK, not huge like in Bangkok but probably bigger than most in Hong Kong.
The bed is comfortable, and room is very clean. Bathroom is very nice and modern with a porcelain stand alone round bowl type sink, and it's nice and bright. Room lighting is very good with a soft glow, not a harsh bright white. Very relaxing.
I had a room with the Taipei 101 view, so I can see the Taipei 101 building. But it really doesn't matter, I was expecting more from the view. This hotel makes me feel safe, welcomed and relaxed --- which is a hell of a lot more than many 5 stars hotels that I've stayed at. And the staff are excellent, very friendly. That say hello to you everytime you walk in or out of the hotel, in or out of the elevator and by the reception desk. All eager to assist in any way they can.
Highly suggest that you stay at this hotel and I am very picky!

This is my third time staying in this hotel in 3 years. It is clean, it is pleasant, it is comfortable and it is affordable. I have been coming to Taipei for 15 years and have stayed at many hotels here. The Park meets my needs and at a great value. As for service, I have never found this an issue. The front desk staff is excellent as are the other employees. I am always welcomed when I arrive and greeted when passing in or out of the hotel. The rooms are clean, well set up and comfortable. In room wifi and wired Internet were at no extra charge. The hotel seems to cater more to Japanese travelers as seen by their buffet breakfast. This may be its only drawback for some visitor but I found more than enough so this is not a problem for me. I expect to return here on future visits.

Stayed here with my future wife for 7 nights and it was probably the nicest hotels I've stayed in. The staff were so friendly and respectful, the location was great, and the rooms were so spacious, as was the bathroom. The breakfast was good for me - being a vegetarian it's not always easy to get enough choice, but it wasn't an issue in this instance. The wifi was good and more to the point, it was inclusive (take note UK hotels).

Would definitely stay again and would commend it to anyone in the future.

This hotel is relatively new with clean, comfortable, and decent size room. There is free Wifi and internet as well as LCD TV with DVD player in the room. Breakfast in hotel is simple with limited choices and you will probably get bored by the third day. For comparison, this hotel has better room when compared to Brother Hotel located just 1km away.

Hotel is located 100 meters away from Daan Light Rail Station which enable you to get pretty much away in Taipei. You can walk 10 minutes to SOGO department store and surrounding Zhongxiao Fuxing shopping area. Location is considered excellent but most taxi is not familiar with the hotel and you have to relate it to Daan station.

From Taoyuan Airport to hotel, take AirBus shuttle 2060 (TWD145/person), drop off at Howard Plaza Hotel and walk 200 meters toward direction of Daan station.

Room Tip: Superior or Deluxe room is good enough. If you wish to view the Taipei 101, simply walk toward the D...

The rooms are clean, spacious and relatively new. The front desk is very helpful. The Internet was a bit weak in my room, but they brought me a separate router for the room. Amazing! Rooms facing away from the large street have great views of Taipei 101. Short walk (10 mins) to the shopping areas in Zhongxiao Fuxing and close to Da-an station. It is literally four stations away from the Songshan Airport which is great. Eating establishments are in Zhongxiao Fuxing and there is a Family Mart and Startbucks close by. Overall, the hotel is a cheaper version of Four Seasons and Park Hyatt, as suggested by the room design, logo and name. It's not five star but very good value.

Room Tip: Get the 101 view room if you can.

This is a good hotel. It is located near an MRT station. Clean and modern rooms. However, I encountered a very rude front desk supervisor/manager. The hotel gave me a call and I have explained to them my experience. They apologized but I will not come back to this hotel and our company is considering my experience when using this hotel in the future.
