I was there in beginning of April. Found that the shop where the bubble tea originated open a branch in Taipei(originate in Taichung). So I figured we give it a try as my wife is a big fan of bubble tea. We haven't had lunch so we figured there'll be some finger food there. The place isn't big so it doesn't accommodate large crowds. Decoration in the restaurant is wood base yet a bit towards the modern side. Menu, they do have food that can fill you up such as noodles and rice dishes, but they are nothing special. They do have English/Japanese menu so ordering should be easy enough. Once you've ticked what you want, you bring it to the cashier to pay. The food will follow after. Finger food, I suggest french fries...ok, I know what you're thinking. Mickey D's are probably a better choice, but truth is the fries here taste different. Looks typical, but more some where a long the side of curly fries (and a pretty good one too). Now the bubble tea. They have many type of tea to go with the bubble. I went with the traditional bubble milk tea. Ok, it's pretty good...ok Darn good! I go there for the sake of trying out the original, and I must say it's totally different from the ones I've had so far my a lot of miles. The bubble is medium size(unlike the usual big ones you try everywhere else). The bubble is fluffy, yet very chewy, and not over cooked like a lot of places. If you are in Taiwan and is craving for bubble tea, this is the place to have. Other's are no longer unacceptable.
