“If you are a fan or bubble tea, this place is a must!”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

I was there in beginning of April. Found that the shop where the bubble tea originated open a branch in Taipei(originate in Taichung). So I figured we give it a try as my wife is a big fan of bubble tea. We haven't had lunch so we figured there'll be some finger food there. The place isn't big so it doesn't accommodate large crowds. Decoration in the restaurant is wood base yet a bit towards the modern side. Menu, they do have food that can fill you up such as noodles and rice dishes, but they are nothing special. They do have English/Japanese menu so ordering should be easy enough. Once you've ticked what you want, you bring it to the cashier to pay. The food will follow after. Finger food, I suggest french fries...ok, I know what you're thinking. Mickey D's are probably a better choice, but truth is the fries here taste different. Looks typical, but more some where a long the side of curly fries (and a pretty good one too). Now the bubble tea. They have many type of tea to go with the bubble. I went with the traditional bubble milk tea. Ok, it's pretty good...ok Darn good! I go there for the sake of trying out the original, and I must say it's totally different from the ones I've had so far my a lot of miles. The bubble is medium size(unlike the usual big ones you try everywhere else). The bubble is fluffy, yet very chewy, and not over cooked like a lot of places. If you are in Taiwan and is craving for bubble tea, this is the place to have. Other's are no longer unacceptable.

“Go to the Original.”
Reviewed June 19, 2012

If you're tired from all the walking in Taipei, the best place to relax is here.

This is definitely the best place to get your milk tea with pearls (bubble tea).

If you're from Manila, Philippines and a fan of drinking milk tea you have to try this place. This is where the first bubble milk tea originated from.

What I like with their drinks is that you can still taste and smell the aroma of the tea from the drink. This is not your ordinary sidewalk milk tea place.

They also serve noodles and desserts.

They have an English menu if you don't know how to speak Chinese.

“Expensive but definitely the best bubble tea in town!”
Reviewed August 11, 2011

There are several bubble tea brands here in Taiwan. Chun Shui Tang claims themselves to be the first selling milk tea with Tapioca (aka Bubble Tea). Regardless the fact who was the first one inventing this famous drink worldwide, Chun Shui Tang certainly has its own unique taste.

Drinks in Chun Shui Tang are much more expensive compare to other brands, however their drinks has stronger tea flavors and the Tapioca sweetened in syrup certainly gives it a nice kick to make it the best bubble tea place in town.

I personally found it expensive to have a glass everyday, but it's a nice treat for myself from time to time whenever i'm craving for it.
