Unlike many of the Chinese temples this one is in daily use and well preserved . The day of our visit there were many hundreds of local visitors covering many generations. Local s took pride in the fact that their temple was not just a musuem piece

It is a good pleasant place to find a lot about taiwan's culture, their history and mythology. I recommend this place to tourists.

We had gone to the Long Shan Temple, and were afraid of going to another one for a similar experience. However, the Confucius temple was very different and worth the visit. Strongly recommend you do these two temples if you visit Taipei

By the time we had come to visit the Confucius Temple I had believed that I had seen enough religious sites, but this was different. Quieter, with lots of interactive material to help you understand the philisophy and history. Nice shop. Outside we were lucky enough to witness a religious ceremony. We were alerted to it by the sound of crackers. Very colourful.
