The hotel was nice with friendly staff. Really good location by the river for some great views but apart from the hotel and hotel-related activities there's not much else to do in the vicinity. 3 days is more than enough. There was some building work going on by the river bank which was a shame but I'm sure it'll look great when they finish the new dining room/ kitchen. The activities included with our stay were fun and we saw some wild rhinos. Food was ok. In July its really hot and humid in the area and when the power gets turned off its pretty hard going without a fan!

The Resort is located in the bank of Rapti River. I stayed there with my friends in the first week of June, 2013. The weather was too hot & Humidity, although the breeze in the evening time was just awesome.. It was much more better experience than the artificial air con inside the room. I explored the 360 panoramic views from the hotel premises. This kind of opportunity rarely found in other places. Safari package services are similar as other organization but, If you want to explore just a different, Try to be there once to JWC.

Room Tip: Rooms in front of the River sides are just fabulous..,

The room was nice, clean and air conditioned. I did book a tour through a company in Kathmandu ( which was a complete rip off!) so I don't know the pricing. But the meals, accom and tour was included. The food was good, but the tours are rubbish! Way too many tourist and you do not see very much at all! We went on the jeep tour and the guide crammed 4 large western people and a family of 6 Nepalese, driver and himself into a small Suzuki 4wd for 4 hours! It was ridiculous!

I stayed here for 2 nights, everyone else in the hotel were on a 2 day package deal which they bought in Kathmandu. I was a solo traveler who just decided to stay there while i was in Chitwan. The rooms were big and clean, but not worth 1600 rupees, the hotel itself was ok apart from they are doing some building work in the garden which kind of ruined it. All the manager kept trying to do was make me eat in his restaurant and to take his hotels package deals for the park, even though you could get them cheaper in the village. I ate lunch in his restaurant once, the food was poor at best and totally overpriced. After i didn't eat there again or take his deals he became quite unwelcoming...The people i spoke too who were on a package deal there were all thoroughly disappointed with the service and cost. So if you are booking a package from Kathmandu check that this isn't the hotel they send you too.

Room Tip: upstairs rooms looked better

I stayed for 3 days and two nights . Very impressed by extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food and service were excellent.
I loved the view from my balcony overlooking the river. On New Years eve all the guests were invited to a Barbeque for dinner.
I arrived as a guest but left as a friend!!
