“A quiet retreat above the city”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

The peace temple is itself a quiet, Buddhist temple. Its location on a hilltop across the lake from Pokhara offers great views of the city and the mountains beyond. The journey by boat across the lake is peaceful. The approach to the temple is quite steep

“Worth the mountain climb!”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

Go to this amazing Buddhist shine at the top of the mountain. There are four different Buddha statues: and a panoramic view of the valley and city! Also, a great coffee/soda/water cafe on the mountain.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

This palce was worth a visit even if we had to trek uphill through the forest. Of course one can choose a taxi drive, and the drive is not expensive, but we loved our walk in the early afternoon the forest was cool and silent. The stupa's white dome is beautiful in the backdrop of clear skies. One can see all Pokhara city and it is huge indeed.
