Located in the picturesque Pokhara town, this new resort is already popular with both local and foreign visitors. The service and food was good, they even have a nice pool. It is a few minutes walk from the lakeside area but the road outside the hotel just got repaired so access is not a problem.A lovely addition to Pokhara.

The hotel is very nicely located. It's walking distance to the town centre where you find shops and restaurants. The lake is very pretty and a boat cruise around it makes it more interesting. The hotel is cleanand comfortable. The room we had was on the 1st floor with a balcony and the mountain view of the Fishtail. We stayed here for 2 nights before going on a trek of Annapurna mountains. We came back and stayed for a third night.
The spa is not up to the standard of the hotel. The massage I had was good, but the room lacks ambience. The food however in the restaurant is good quality and quite reasonable. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel anytime.
At the time we were there, they were building a road in front of the hotel which made walking a bit hard, , but once you get out of the area everywhere else is accessible.

Room Tip: Inform the hotel in advance if you prefer a non smoking room. Rooms on the upper floor have better v...

My daughter and I stayed at the Atithi for 4 nights, and throughly enjoyed our time there. Our room was modern, clean and we had a breathtaking view of the mountains from the balcony. The buffet breakfast was delicious, staff very helpful(Booked the bus back to Kathmandu for us), and it is in a quiet location, a 20 minute walk to the center of Lakeside. The road is torn up in front of the resort, and in the evening we felt it was too dark to walk back from Lakeside, so we took a taxi, which was a reasonably priced option. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the resort for 5 days including the New Year's.
You could see the difference in service at the time of new year (when the hotel was full) and after 2-3 days (when the hotel was relatively empty)

The WiFi service we got was bad and very inconsistent even after repeated requests. This is a shocker considering even small restaurants/bars in Pokhara will have WiFi.

The place is slightly away from the lakeside - At least a 20 minutes walk from the happening areas. At night, the road back is dark and deserted.
Also, the road was under construction at the time. This is a no-no if you want to be close to the action. There are better places near to the lake.
However if you want to stay away from the street, this might be good.

The view we got was not as advertised but we were okay with that.

At New years, there was a cultural show whose tickets had to be compulsorily bought. The show was okay, the food/drinks were good.

Overall, we faced a few problems but otherwise the stay was okay, enjoyable even.
The place is not bad, but some of these things might be a deal breaker for someone and they deserve to know.

Everything went really smoothly from check in to check out. After spending three days at the Hyatt Regency in Kathmandu, we received essentially the same services for a third of the price.

We were able to get amazing two hour massages upon check in even though we didn't arrive until after 8 in the evening. The Spa is small but the staff did great, we went for the Nepalese Massage and Deep Tissue the next day. They also offer a great post-trekking massage.

Amazing view of Annapurna from the breakfast table. Restaurant is open around the clock, albeit with limited options in the evening. They didn't charge me for Wi-Fi, bonus points.

The restaurant is a ten minute walk to the main road, I was taken back because the road leading up to the hotel was completely torn apart, turns out it is just being paved. I felt like overall Atithi resort was really an excellent value for the money and the cleanliness and level of service was comparable to much more expensive resorts.

The front desk staff was particularly helpful in arranging us flights back to Kathmandu and corresponding with our Paragliding outfit.

I say perfect as at both the beginning and end of our trekking in the Annapurnas this was the "perfect" base from which to prepare and then later to recover !!!!

Good food , comfortable rooms , friendly , courteous and friendly staff ( even the Chelsea supporter ! ) secure and oh so tasty food.

PLUS .....view of the Annapurna mountains which quite literally takes your breath away ..............

Our family stay in Atithi Resort & Spa was wonderful and memorable...the staff were very hospitable and they really went out of their way to make a surprise by presenting a birthday cake to a 12 year old grandson whose first out of country travel was to Nepal. Breakfast was great and on the first day we gasped to a breathtaking view of the majestic Himalayan mountain range. Two thumbs up for the hotel, even though it's off the main road but convenient enough to get around.

Room Tip: Most probably rooms with balcony will have better views, but what we had was also nice facing the mi...

Atithi Resort and SPA is a unique resort seated at the heart of the city of lakes, Pokhara. ‘Atithi’ is ‘Guest’ in English typically chosen to reflect the well nurtured Nepalese culture of revering ‘atithi-guest’ as cites the verse in Sanskrit ‘अतिथि देवो भवः (Guest becomes God). The eternal intimacy of Mount Fishtail and Fewa Lake has been the source of inspiration to serve our most valued guests together with the pristine beauty of Pokhara and its exquisite surrounding. The affectionate snow mountains, the lush green forests in the neighboring hills, cool air, clear sky, the calm lake water and the tranquil environment in Atithi will keep you fresh and energetic as you stand close to the scenic canvas of the beautiful Annapurna Himalayan Range. Atithi is richly furnished with the modern architecture and amenities. The beautiful wild rosewood furniture, well designed swimming pool along with rejuvenating spa, private Jacuzzi and sauna rooms have carved a niche of luxury in it. ... more   less
