Near the Main road but far enough from it :) A new Hotel with world standard. The rooms are modern, large and with balcony and himalaya view. The swimmingpool zone is very attractive.
The stuff is extraordinary pleasant and helpful.
The food and its variety are very good. We've relaxed and we are already happy for the next stay on this wonderful hotel.

From the moment we arrived after a dusty 8 hour bus ride from Kathmandu, we were welcomed with a refreshing drink by the staff. They went out of their way to change our room to a balcony room that we requested. Staff including the Reception, the managers, cooks, porters, waiters, shop attendant even the guards at the entrance were all extremely pleasant and treated us like royalty. The rooms were absolutely clean and very pleasant to stay with all that we expected. The beds including linen and pillows were luxurious and very comfortable. The grounds / gardens and pool were beautiful and we were lucky enough to have spectacular views of Fishtail Mountain from every location like the dining room, our room/s, the garden and even the car park! Situated 3 minutes walk away from the main street it was close to dining and shopping, yet most peaceful. Could not recommend a hotel more highly.

Room Tip: One of the rare hotels in Nepal with a swimming pool. Peaceful location. We stayed in 3 different rooms which were all excellent with a view of Fishtail Mountain. Choose a room with balcony if you prefer smoking. Also they have "adjoining" rooms for families with children.

Recently I enjoyed a most wonderful stay at Atithi. So serene & luxuriant & the service from
the staff was just impeccable. It was definitely the best place I have stayed in Nepal over 3 visits, & one of the best hotel experiences anywhere.

The friendly staff, good service and nice pool are highlights of this new Pokhara resort. We stayed here for one night because our choice resort was full. Although promised a room with a balcony, we were put in a room at the back, with a view of construction and no balcony. When I very nicely complained, we were put in the "deluxe suite" complete with mountain-view and balcony, 2 bathrooms, a living room (2 TV'S), and a jacuzzi bathtub - which unfortunately didn't work. All at no extra charge. It worked out well as we had lots of room for our baby.
Unfortunately, there are many reasons I would choose another place to stay in Pokhara. For one, the location. You are a 10-15 minute walk away from the main strip and the lake, and on a dusty (or muddy) road depending on the weather. There are no restaurants or activities nearby.
Second, the food. If you are stuck at the hotel because of rain, as we were, you'll be forced to eat the hotel food, which is not horrible but close. The included breakfast was okay, but the dinner buffet and a la carte items were pretty bad.
Although the hotel was clean and well-laid out, it lacked character and the small touches that you could find elsewhere.
Overall, very expensive for what it is.

Anonimous and vaguely sad hotel, surely not the kind of luxury hotel we were looking for. It is made of two high, opposing building, crammed with cheap groups of Asian travellers who behave as if they are the only guests and make an awful lot of noise. Reception did not care to address the problem after they were alerted. Swimming pool is small, almost purely decorative. But worst thing is the location: far from lakeside up a poorly lit road with more craters than the moon! Shifted to Waterfront hotel after the first night, together with another couple of individual travellers.

Room Tip: All rooms are facing each other, not much of a view
