We stayed in the heritage suite which was really nice as it overlooked the Annapurna Range and the Phewa Lake. The hotel was very nice but the bathroom was a little small. The staff are really friendly and nice. Food in the restaurant is very nice, I loved the apple pie, the Nepali thali and thupka, even the Indian selection of food is well prepared and nice. Just a few drawbacks which I can overlook:-
1. Bathroom towels are not soft.
2. Bed and pillows are a little uncomfortable
3. No room service to order food to the room
Overlooking the above points the place is nice and unique. If you like water you would love to take the small boat or rope pulled pontoon boat each time you need to go to the other side of the lodge or return back. Recommended to readers to insist on the heritage room no 16,17 to get the view of the lake and mountain range. The location is very good as it is opposite the main tourist bazaar. Taxi drivers will insist on charging very high...if you like walking then walk and check out the place.More
