Check-in was a disaster: it took 15 minutes and some harsh negotiation for them to finally assign the double rooms with lake view we had booked. They argued that booking information had not been accurately communicated to them. Then, there was no hot water in the hotel rooms for a pre-dinner shower. Only mild excuses were given and no compensation was provided.

Furthermore, they charged Rs 750 per day and per device to get internet in the rooms which is a total rip off in 2013. The paint of the rooms was a bit worn out especially on the bathroom door. Breakfast quality and choice were quite average, but the smiles of the staff helped.

Not sure that I would choose this hotel again if I went back to Pokhara.

Waterfront Resort appreciates your feedback and we thank you for taking the time to review our property. We regret that your experience at our resort was unsatisfying although our motive is to always strive towards excellent service. Waterfront Resort proactively carries out maintenance services to provide a high standard of facilities at the hotel and it was regrettable that there was a glitch with the hot water for half an hour where the property plumber failed to engage our secondary system. We are grateful that you have raised this issue with us as we have now streamlined our processes and similar glitches will not occur in the future.
Waterfront Resort provides free Wi-fi to all our guests to be used in the lobby and restaurant area. A premium of 6.5 Euro is charged for room usage only which enables us to sustain a superior connection for all our guests.
Waterfront is grateful for your feedback and as a learning organization, we will work towards providing the best solution and welfare for our guests!

I was there for a medical conference some time back and I was pleasantly surprised to see the beautiful location of this resort. The landing ground for the para gliders is right next to this property and it also provides a great view of the Phewa Lake. The staff is polite and attentive. The food was delicious. I would surely like to explore more facilities especially the outdoor pool.

Service was outstanding, helpful, polite, nothing was too much trouble, 5 star service. Rooms are clean and fairly large, big swimming pool, a few minutes walk from Lakeside shops and restaurants. That walk at night however is pitch dark- I didnt feel unsafe (there or anywhere else in Nepal) but you need either a light or enough charge left on your mobile to light your way back, and so cars and bikes can see you.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back with the mountain view

Really enjoyed my stay at the Waterfront. Located 7 minutes drive or 25 minute walk from centre of Pokhara, it is right next to Phewa lake. The staff are very attentive and the resident manager Santosh is extremely efficient and proactive to guests' needs. The day I was leaving, the airport was disrupted due to bad weather and Santosh repeatedly called the airline to update me about my flight. I also enjoyed the outdoor pool after a day out. Highly recommended!

Excellent Location, Very Good rooms, Tasty food.
The price is High but still worth it!

We stayed 4 night in april in waterfront hotel. The beds are really comfortable, the water is hot at every time, and the room was quite clean (some dust in the wardrobe and behind the bathroom door by the way).
They don't have connecting rooms, and as we booked 2 rooms, one for us and one for our daughters, it was annoying for us, so they put 2 beds in one suite and we all slept together. The electric cuts are not too annoying as its already back within few seconds.
There is a lot of mosquitos in the lobby and stairs but if you are carefull you won't have in rooms and they provide a mosquito electric repellent. We were not bite at all.
There is lift I think.
The breakfast was good and with a lot of choice, in the restaurant, the aquabird wich was delicious.
The location is not so bad, very quite, children can meet the animals from the farm just nearby, and there is a paragliding landing area. You can reach the center by shuttle or by walk (10mn ).
And most of all the staff was perfect, always smiling, saying namaste, responding to every demands, like a 5 stars hotel, but without snob attitude lol.

We had a very good stay in Pokhara in waterfront hotel
