I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The service was perfect and so were the staffs. I found hotel quite peace and rooms were neat and clean. It was best experience for me among all the hotels I had ever stayed at Pokhara. Good location and good view from the balcony of the room I stayed at. Also the restaurant service best too....

Hotel's location is good, within walking distance to the jetty for the cruise on Phewa Lake, and shops are on both sides of the hotel. We were given a huge (L-shaped) triple room (#401). It gives an odd feeling that the 3rd person is a bit far away. Room and bath looks rather old.
The plus points :
1) Good views from the balcony of Phew Lake, and the snow-capped mountain of Fish Tail mountain range in the morning. To get the full view, you may climb up to the roof top. Note that you will have to do this early (before 8am) before the staff put out the laundry to dry.
2) Of so many meals I had throughout my trip in Nepal, Hotel Landmark serve the best Nepalese set (from the ala carte menu).
The Negative points :
1) The water that came out from the tap that flows into the bath tub during one of our showers was practically black, and filled with sand-like particles.
2) The masseurs at the Spa/Massage centre in the hotel certainly need to practice more professionalism and respect the privacy of customers. During our massage session of 2 hours duration, the door was opened at least 4 - 5 times. Not forgetting, the very walkway outside the massage room is also a common walkway to guests accessing to their rooms. There was some renovation (banging) going on outside the massage room, and the staff must be hoping that by turning up the volume of the music in the room, it would help to cover the banging noise from outside. Unfortunately, that just jerk us out of our relaxation mode.

We stayed here on two separate occasions (before and after our trekking adventures) and would recommend this place for its excellent location and beautiful hotel rooms. On our first stay we were given Level 5 rooms - the best rooms imho as it opens out to the rooftop and you get a beautiful view of the lake in front and the snow-capped mountains on your right. We got Level 4 rooms on our second visit and although there were no outdoor terrace the views were as good; the balcony facing the main street was ideal for observing all walks of life any time of the day.

The sizes of our rooms could rival any 5-star hotels' as they were comfortable, clean and larger than expected. Breakfasts comprised of both local and Western options but it's dinner that you shouldn't miss. Although it can get busy (the Hungry Eye restaurant is really popular with tour groups and walk-ins so you may want to eat earlier to avoid the crowd) food is generally good and they also have evening cultural performances to keep you busy on the camera while waiting. The Cantonese-speaking lady manager (or owner) was also very helpful to get us settle down and recommending dishes to try.

Free WIFI available throughout hotel but signal is strongest at reception area and at their ground and first floor restaurant areas.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms overlooking the main street or lake. 501 had a double and single bed but the room was...

An average hotel in the middle of the city. Food is good. Front desk is friendly. Careful about the bell boy's.. It seems that they hate their jobs. Bathrooms are wet always with leaking taps. The evening cultural program is fine. Parking is a problem here. Location is near to the Fewa lake. Always try to get a room overlooking the lake....

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the lake

My wife and I stayed with you from 6/27 to 6/30/11. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was wonderful! We had a clogged toilet the first morning and it was immediately addressed. We asked for a bucket of ice every evening and it was delivered within minutes. The location was perfect, the bed was comfortable and the price was reasonable. We will be back! Thank you!
