Wow, such a great adventure! From Kathmandu we took an 8 hour jeep ride with great scenery to our starting point, Pattale Bazaar (2880). This is the hometown of Subas, our guide and one of the most helpful and kind persons I have got the honour to get to know! A beutiful village and a great starting point where we got to stay with Subas family, here we got a first insight to the extreme hospitality that is customary to the sherpa people of Himalaya :) You really feel like home.even though it is far from what I as a Scandinavian are used to. This whole trip (except for when we choosed tent) we stayed at local families and got a true insight of how they live and are.

This was a true nature trekk, with mountains, jungle, fields, villages, and one of my highlights when we stayed at the Tibetean Monastery up in the mountains. We saw no other trekkers or tourists which for me was exactly what I wanted. WOW is all I can say. An exeperience of a lifetime. Our highest point for this trekk was Pikey Peak in about 4180 moo, that view was extraordinary, you stand above the clouds and see this glorious sceneries of different mountains all around. A glimpse of Everest as well. Of course you can go higher but that is for next time :)

I want to give a BIG thanks to Krishna and Step by Step Treks and Adventures in Pokhara for arranging this unforgettable event! The route itself was really thought through but also all the arrangements connected to it with hotel, jeep rides, various information, and help of all kinds. We really felt cared for. And during the trekk as well, Subas, our guide, is the best! So considerate, kind and responsible. And Bharat as well of course! Thanks. Everything ran as smoothly as it could. I will surely see you again for the next trekk in Pokhara Area.

We started on May 27th, 2016 and arrived back at Kathmandu June, 6th, so around 10 days. But this trip can easily be extended, just ask Step by Step, they will customize for you for sure!

Thank you! See you soon! Be Happy!
