“Yet another excellent review of this hotel!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 1, 2009

This hotel really doesn't need another good review I guess, but I just have to concur with all the previous reviewers.
Clean rooms, good staff, great food (those fried potatoes at breakfast were my downfall)perfect location, central but quiet. And terrific value for money at US$10.00 per night.
Free internet - take your turn with other guests,
A couple of comments - as this Hotel is highly recommended in "The lonely Planet" I would recommend trying to get in there early.
Also the top rooms I suspect would get rather hot in the summer as the rooftop got very hot by about 11am.

This is a great value option for staying in lovely Pokhara, the staff will do everything they can to make your stay as pleasent as possible. The rooms on the ground floor are the cheapest and have a big clean bathroom and big bed, all for just 450NPR.

Would definately stay here again, they have a generator so you will always have light during the blackouts.

We were travelling with 3 young children (3y-old twins + 1y-old infant) and booked online requesting a suitable room. We were given one (of two) top floor rooms with double + single bed + shower over bath - simple (e.g. no TV which suited us just fine!), but sufficent space for our needs, a bright room with great shower and plenty of hot water, but the best thing was the room had two balconies! A small private balcony which was great for evening drinks and watching a movie on the laptop while the kids slept, and a much larger (shared) balcony with flower garden which catches a good mix of sun and shade which the kids could run around safely on. Food and service was good for breakfast and a light + cheap lunch, although menu was limited for dinners - but good restarunts 1 minute walkway (e.g. Moondance was our favourite). Bishnu's team provided relaxed but attentive service with good local knowledge and advice. Only downside is that the guest house is not currently wired for wi-fi, although nearby restaurants are, and there is a PC with internet in the main living area for communal use. All-in-all, superb value for money, and would thoroughly recommend it for a basic but value-for-money central stay.

My boyfriend and I were recommended the Sacred Valley Inn by a fellow traveller, we were not disapointed. The staff are great and really care that your stay is a good one. The rooms are lovely and clean and have wonderful powerful and hot showers. There is a cafe on site that serves really great fresh food and it's a great location. The rooftop is a great place to just relax and admire the mountains too.
We stayed at Sacred Valley for 8 nights in total, four prior to the Annapurna circuit trek and four after, it was so great to return there and relax. After shopping around in Pokhara we decided to hire our trekking guide through the hotel, we were so pleased that we did as he was fantastic. The staff at the hotel were really well informed about the trek and answered our numerous questions and the guide was just as they promised. I would definitely recommend hiring a guide through them if you need one.
I would highly recommend this guesthouse and would go back there if ever I return to Pokhara which I definitely will do one day.

We stayed at the Sacred Valley on the recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed. We paid $15 a night for a clean and very comfortable room on the first floor with a bath and toilet. There is a cafe attached to the hotel and we spent many hours sitting on the roof enjoying a coffee and watching the herons return to roost in the neighboring trees at the end of the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were happy to offer advice about trekking, or organize a trip for you. We hired a guide through Bishnu, the manager of the hotel and spent a fantastic 5 days in the mountains, returning to the sacred valley for a few more days before flying home

My husband and I walked in off the street after trekking the Annapurna Circuit and were instantly attracted to the green leafy entrance. We were told rooms were $15US or $20 US for top floor room. We took the top-floor option and were delighted with our choice. Rooms were roomy, light and airy with great hot showers and western toilets... after the trek, these two features being the most essential items! Standards were clean and tidy. Privacy was given but if service was needed, eg. clean towels, cleaning, all we had to do was ask. Bishnu and all the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the attached Monsoon cafe was fresh and delicious. Craving fresh vegetables and salad, the cafe assures that their salads are washed in iodine and rinsed in filtered water. I can honestly say that the food here is fresh and safe. (I only ate salads at two restaurants in the whole of Pokhara, that assured safe standards, Monsoon Cafe and Gurkhas). We spent 5 days in the comfort of this relaxed and friendly hotel and were thoroughly satisfied, and were sorry to leave for the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu.Best value for money we found in Nepal! Thanks to Bishnu & all the staff for making our stay such a happy one!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days in April 2008.

We just stayed in a simple room at the lowest end of the budget. You can pay more for a rooftop view and/or balcony. The simple rooms were enough for a few days.

The rooms are equipped with a fan and hot shower. I found the rooms really cool because there are lots of trees and coverage providing much needed shade in the hot Pokhara weather. The toilets are western as well. There is a restaurant providing reasonable food, internet service and TV in the lobby area.

The rooms are great value and the hotel is really close to the tourist hub area, restaurants and facilities (ATM, internet etc etc).

The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and speak very good English.
