KATHMANDU-LHASA-MOUNT KAILASH
A place in far away land located at the top of this world, a curious mind was anxious enough to find out what is so auspicious about this Reverend land. After making some initial queries with close friends, collecting valuable information, intriguing mind, of course, led us to contact a traveling agency involved in arranging the tours for this religious and pious place for certain religious pilgrims and for others a trekking experience. Getting in touch with this travel agency was a monumental discovery in itself. You may as well say in other words our initial queries; with our friends was a God send a gift to us. Memories of this trip are innumerable and filled with breath taking experience and will remain with us forever.
Our precious gift was our contact with a pure & gentle soul named Mr. Ram Kumar Adhikari of Alpine Eco Trek Expedition. Ram Kumar looks after your needs from start to finish in detail without leaving any stone unturned to make your journey comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.
Experiences such as a reception at the Tribhuvan Airport at Kathmandu Nepal, to hotel reception and services provided by the hotel staff, were impressive. Hotels are personnel employed along with managements were very courteous, helpful with extraordinary services during our stay. In reference to our minor issues, Ram Kumar Adhikari took care of our problem very swiftly. Whatever we encountered were resolved and taken care of right away.
This place at the top of the world known as Plateau of Tibet is a breath taking place out of this world. One has to see and experience personally what I am talking about. It not just for religious pilgrims, trackers, and hiker are equally attracted to this scenic and adventurous place.
One of the amazing quality of this gentle soul is politeness, helpful to you every step of the way, quick responder, to your queries, well mannered, without a wrinkle of anger on his forehead. All the guests visiting through his agency are looked after as if they are his family member. We personally experienced this hospitality with send-off was a surprise to us. His answers to our queries were efficient, transparent and to the point without any periphrasis. That is what we as foreigners visiting from far away foreign land was looking far. Ram Kumar showed no sign of any worry, always with ease, encouraging every one of us with a smile, words of wisdom and positive attitude until the last few hours before our boarding with China Air Line to Lhasa our boarding permit and visa arrived.
We (My wife &I) are very high praise of Ram kumara and sincerely appreciate for his wonderful and commendable services in stronger terms as humanly possible. Lhasa driver and the guide were both excellent making our (17 foreigners from Canada, USA, Russia, Nepal, Singapore and Holland) journey, safe jolly and smooth without any hitch anywhere what so ever. Exceptionally well organized and timely services provided by his organization. Information of any kind, the transitional experience went flawlessly. I would not hesitate to give you our personal experience if any one requires. It was absolutely a unique experience for us when we visited Kailash Mansarovar during our trip in June/2017. My only interest in writing this review is let no foreign traveler be misguided or taken for a ride by unscrupulous agencies or their managers. You can be assured you will be treated and looked after very well again depending on the weather conditions in this difficult terrine.
