We stayed two times at this nice hotel. The service was very good, the food at the restaurant very delicious. The prices are fair and the waiter Shree helped us with a lot of things and could give always a good advise. (Thank you very much!)
We will come back later next month for a couple of days.

As you know, Kathmandu can be very stressful and loud. But in the beautiful garden of this hotel in the middle of Thamel you can find some rest and peace.

We booked a standard room. It was clean and the beds were made up every day.

Also we could store some our luggage which we did not need during the Annapurna trek.

This hotel is an amazing find...I have traveled extensively in Nepal and there are so many options for accommodation in Kathmandu. This location is perfect. You can reach the walking district of touristy Thamel as well as easily find local historical spots like Durbar Square. They have many room options to choose from at very reasonable rates and the staff is wonderful...The gated grounds are very safe. There are local preschools in the area, which is wonderful. Very quiet and restful, perfect for after a long trek. The garden is lovely for meditation and I am able to walk to yoga classes every day. Wonderful place...great for travelers no matter the length of stay in amazing Nepal!

We were very lucky to find it in Lonley Planet guide. It was our first & last hotel in Kathmandu, Nepal. Great place - extremely nice staff, clean room & decent breakfast. In my opinion very fair price!

Loved this hotel for its serenity, peaceful and quiet gardens and lovely helpful staff. We returned after every trek (4 times) and it felt like returning home. Rooms are good value with everything you need but the best feature of the hotel is the tranquil garden and balconies on each floor, a much needed escape from the hectic streets of Kathmandu. The hotel offers gear storage, airport pickup, a decent restaurant with good value breakfast, filtered water refills and is located about 10 minutes walk from Thamel in a quiet area. We will be back!!

Room tip: All floors have a balcony. I think the deluxe rooms are on the higher floors but we found the standard rooms were fine

The room we were given was very small and totally damp. The shower room was full of black damp on the walls. The blind was warped and the filthiest thing I have ever seen.
The bed was damp, mattress, bedding and pillows were all damp. We would have been ill if we had of stayed. We checked out after one night.

Dear Madam/Sir,

Greetings. We are sorry for the inconvenience during your stay in our Hotel. That room 201 which you stayed for one night was in need of maintenance and due to full occupancy on that day, our staff gave away that room to you. But, The next day our staff offered you an upgraded deluxe room for the price of standard room because of the inconvenience you had. Unfurtunately we could provide you the best service this time and wish to provide better service in near future. Hope you had enjoyed our free ride from airport. Namaste.
