Hari is a truly a great guy. I spent the summer after my first year of medical school volunteering with Partnership for Sustainable Development (PSD) in Nepal. They hooked me up with Hari who arranged some guided trips for me. The trips were awesome and he put me at ease in a place that was very foreign to me. I got very sick in the village I was living in at one point, and Hari set me up in a hotel in Kathmandu. He came to visit every day and brought me food and drink to help me regain strength. How many of the people you work with, or even your friends would do that for you? He's an awesome dude, and I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Nepal!

If you’re planning a trip to Nepal, I would highly recommend working with Exciting Nepal Holidays and its Managing Director, Hari Prasad Timilsina. I got to know Hari while I was living in Kathmandu this past summer. After tagging along on 3-day rafting/Chitwan trip he planned for a friend, I asked Hari to help me organize a 3-week guided trek in the Annapurna region. I could not have had a better experience!

During the planning process, Hari helped me evaluate and price a number of different options, and was always available and happy to answer my questions. He was also flexible in letting me choose which parts of the trip he organized (guide, transportation from/back to Kathmandu, hotel in Pokhara) and which I managed myself (lodging and food on the trail). Before the trek, he took me to meet my guide, and to find a few pieces of equipment that I hadn’t brought with me.

The guide he provided was excellent: professional, courteous and helpful, with an extensive knowledge of the local people, plants and animals found along the route, as well as wilderness first aid training and a good understanding of altitude risks and precautions. He took great care of me during the trek, making sure I didn’t miss any sights or experiences, while at the same time keeping me realistic about what we could accomplish in a given day.

Throughout the trek, Hari supported us from Kathmandu, checking in with the guide regularly, and occasionally contacting me directly to see how things were going. He also helped with a couple of last-minute transportation changes, and the hotel he arranged for me in Pokhara was excellent. Hari’s prices were very competitive, and there were no surprises along the way.

In my view, what sets Hari apart is his dedication to his clients. From the time I started planning my trek until my return to Kathmandu, he wasn’t happy unless I was happy. He was flexible, accommodating and patient, despite some challenging requests from me. Whenever I needed to make a decision, he had a range of options available, and was clear about the cost/quality/time tradeoffs. During my time working with him, he was always up-front, honest and reliable. After my trek ended, he took me out to lunch to catch up, and since then he has even checked in periodically to see how the rest of my time in Nepal was going. This is my favorite thing about Hari: when you book a trip with him, you’re not just a customer, you’re more like family.

So to sum up, whether you’re organizing a trek or a sightseeing tour or anything in between, Hari will plan a great experience, and take excellent care of you in the process!

I would like to heartily recommend Exciting Nepal Holidays Treks (P.)ltd. for organizing Trekking/Expeditions,tours and other travel related services very professionally with personal caring. Mr. Hari Prasad
Timilsina,Managing Director of this company is an amazing personality.Whatever travel services you require, he will do it better: more reliably, more responsibly, more economically and with greater patience!
I met him by chance several years ago and used his services again
this past year and was still amazed by his wonderful suggestions, his honesty (a rare commodity ) , his initiative and organizational ability.
He made my stay a very special event. I planned with him through
e mail and suggested places I would like to see and he always answered promptly with the feasibility, the time frame, the cost, the possible modes of transportation and additional suggestions that I did not know about or had not considered. He arranged hotels and guest houses
inclusive of extras that other guests did not have in Kathmandu, Pokara, and Chitwan. He also added a great deal with his deep knowledge of Nepali life, religions, customs, and political environment . I am sure that there is no type of trip or vacation that could be better than one with his guidance and expertise, whether it be treking ,mountain bike trips , jungle safaris, river rafting, Everest flight, special trips or just general sightseeing. In my opinion, whoever takes advantage of all that he offers is definitely going to have a wonderful experience!

I met Hari in 2010 when I was visiting Nepal on a university trip with a group of almost 60 people. He planned an excellent 10 day tour for us where we managed to visit 4 cities, took the Everest flight and overall experienced Nepal at it's best. The accommodations that were arranged by Hari were more than comfortable. The place that we stayed at in Kathmandu, Norling, was a beautiful resort which we pretty much had all to ourselves. Who would have thought with our meagre budgets that we would be afforded such luxuries. Our stays in Bhaktapur, Chitwan and Pokhara were also more than satisfactory with two people sharing a room. By the time we were leaving, all of us were in love with Nepal and were grateful to Hari for his genuine hospitality and arranging such an amazing, fun filled and adventurous trip for us.

I got in touch with Hari again in 2014 when I was planning a trip with 3 of my friends. We planned it for two weeks, allotting maximum days in Pokhara. Me and my friends looked up all the hotels and guest houses that we wanted to stay at and Hari arranged all the bookings for us in advance. We changed our minds so many times, sometimes extending our stay in one city after everything was booked and paid for but never once did Hari get annoyed with us and he made sure we did everything we wanted and exactly how we wanted with complete freedom.

Hari always gave us his advice, whether it was going somewhere, buying something at the right price and then he would let us be on our own as long as he was convinced we would be safe and were having a good time. The day before we were leaving, Hari took us out for an amazing lunch with great authentic Nepali cuisine at one of the restaurants in Thamel. It really felt like we were all family and as we reminisced our two weeks in Nepal, words cannot explain the love and gratitude we all felt to meet someone like him.

Hari's simplicity, generosity and hospitality is a rare gift. If anyone is planning a trip to Nepal, please get in touch with him and rest assured you'll have a great time.
