I and my husband visited this restaurant 4 times during our stay in Kathmandu. This restaurant is simply awesome and a wonderful place to be in to delight your taste buds with great food at reasonable price. It's hospitality and a peaceful environment are its assets. If we come to Nepal again, we will not miss to go to Rosemary.

We randomly tried this restaurant. We turned left out the Eco Hotel a followed the street until we saw a sign on the left that said Rosemary's Kitchen Garden. It was wonderful to sit outside in the shade. One of party had the Mongolian beef another had deserts. We are going back for dinner. The service was amazing and the ambience was delightful. For three wines, three large beers, Mongolian beef, two brownies with ice cream, rice pudding, two lemonades, and one water it was Rs. 2889 or about USD $35. The meals by others looked amazing. If you can find it you must try it.

Were only staying 4 days in Kathmandu, so didn't have any guidebook. Went to random restaurants around Tamel, and had terrible food everywhere until I came here. The food is just delicious, and they also have a good selection of beer and wine. Service is good, and atmosphere is also very good. No doubt the best restaurant in Thamel.

We visited this restaurant twice during our recent stay in Kathmandu and the food was, without doubt, the best we had eaten in Nepal. Unlike many Thamel restaurants, the menu is not too extensive so that expertise is concentrated on a manageable number of dishes. There was nothing too complicated on the menu - just good ingredients well cooked (and not overpriced). The restaurant is off a side street so sitting in the garden is quiet and peaceful. The manager was delightful, advising us on food and wine and telling us about the development of his restaurant. We so enjoyed both meals that we asked to see the chef to thank him personally. Although there is a huge choice of places to eat in Thamel, this is one of the best.
