“There is Coffee and cheap DVDs!”
Reviewed August 10, 2014

Wish this neighbor hood had less bars, coverbands and noise at night. Its changed a lot over the last 10 years. Many coffee places...a spots to chill out in restaurants. Not as Holy as Boudha...and it has grown overpriced.

“exhausting-good shopping!”
Reviewed August 9, 2014 via mobile

Many beautiful handmade assortment of things, though you have to carve your way through the hectic streets and avoid all the unnecessary touts and bargain over the tiniest of things!

“Love Hate Relationship”
Reviewed August 8, 2014

I have a love-hate relationship with Thamel. I love it because it is the best place in Kathmandu to find food, and it has beautiful and colorful shops, but I hate it because from the moment you arrive, you are pretty much assaulted by the numerous people who want to share you anything from flutes to hashish.

“If the don´t have it I don't exist”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

Although i probably is a copy, you will find everything you ever need. Amazing place, do not fear the small shops, and the "special price fore you" go inside and they will let you shop
