Description: Mitho is a small cozy restaurant between Chhetrapati Chowk and famous Everest Steak House. Mitho means 'tasty' in Nepali and that is what we try to serve you: tasty and hygienic food in a homely environment. We serve different cuisines, ranging from Nepali, Indian and Chinese to Continental, and Italian. Off course we serve you fresh coffee's made by our Italian Espresso machine. Most of our staff are learning here. We provide training to uneducated young people to give them a chance for a job as waiter or cook in Nepal or abroad. A small training center / restaurant. We hope to see you at Mitho's!

We decided to walk the other way, instead of heading to the usual busy area of Thamel. Under 5 minutes from our hotel, Tibet Guest House, it was quite a find. We spent our last night in Nepal in a cosy restaurant, and the food was not bad. We are pretty familiar with Indian food, but it was our first time ordering Chicken Ra Ra. Was not disappointed, really yummy! I can't recommend the Chicken Tika though. Garlic Naan was nice and so was the Aloo Gobi. Pretty much the first place that we've visited that had locals in it, so I guess that speaks loads of the price.

We ate here loads whilst staying in Thamel. The food was excellent, very tasty and great price. The dal baht was really good, very tasty and a huge portion. Momo's were some of the best we had in Nepal, great curry sauce!

Restaurant is clean, small but cozy, and has a nice relaxed atmosphere. It looks great lit by candlelight at night.

Staff are nice, friendly and helpful.

The restaurant is not too big but it has a cozy environment. There are also few tables outside if want to have your food in an open environment. The atmosphere is very friendly as well as the staffs and the place is filled with locals as well as tourists. The menu is very rich that ranges from Indian, Nepali, Chinese and Continental. The portions of food are more than generous and of good quality. The place has an excellent quality-price ratio.

After trying so many restaurants in Kathmandu, I have the confidence to say that Mitho is definitely my all-time favorite. The food served there is always fresh and taste good. You can get quality food with a very very economical price. The people there are friendly and the atmosphere is warm. Above all, Mitho does not charge you extra tax like other restaurants would. It's the ideal restaurant for travelers who are looking for a tasty meal with a budget.

I went here twice with some friends while staying in Kathmandu. The prices are very good for what is good quality food. I had some chow mein which was decent and then some chicken curry which was good expect for some slightly overcooked chicken.
