Last time I visited Annapurna, and much pleased I thought of trying a different hotel so I can share and guide all my fellow travellers like me who visit Nepal.

If are on a medium budget between 60-70 usd then you should try here.

The place is decent enough. The food is good. You should try the "Thali" served at the coffee shop. Its really awesome and too much for a single person to finish with.

Rooms are ok and good as per the budget..and staff is good and cooperative...Escpecially the one at coffee shop...She always attends you with a lovely and pleasant smile...Very decent people...

Good Hotel for staying with the family too..for a short break of 10 days...

This country is amazing with lovely people around....

Thanks.
Linilchandra

Good short distance to Dhurbar Marg and Asan market. Staff are friendly but room was ok (old). I was surprised that Internet wi- fi was sell on coupon instead of free? Chinese restaurant is excellent.

I will not rate hotel 4star, as it is not. No hair dryer, no toiletries, bed sheets are not cleaned and ironed properly, old broken furniture. Customer services very poor. They don't care, receptionist and even the manager thinks as if they are doing us favours by talking to us. Not friendly, only good part is the catering staff, were hospitable. Non-veg food was very expensive. Ambience of the hotel was not as we were told. Big construction is going on in front of the hotel. No concierge service, no sightseeing service.

Room Tip: Rooms size was not bad but inside the room was not up to the standard according to hotel rating. Air...

I stayed at this property from the 24th May 2012 for four nights. Was supposed to get a complimentary airport pick up but the pick up was not arranged reason told to me was due to a strike in the city (but other Hotel pick ups were present in-spite of strike). The Hotel looks Grand .had a smooth check in. Front desk staff were very effective. Now regarding the rooms...they look old, tired and lacks maintenance. The Air conditioner was present but never worked. complained several times but of no use. Was provided with a fan as a back up til the end of the stay. The Break fast is good and staffs at the coffee shop were also very good. Overall the hotel has very nice location off Durbar Marg (Kings way) where you can find lots of good restaurant and coffee shop to dine all day (till 10pm). One more thing the room service is very good and they also provide you with a dinner and snacks menu all 24 hours which was very useful to us (ordered food at 2am in the morning and was served with a hot and fresh food). Will stay at this hotel again and hopefully the air conditioner will work then (during summer)...Thanks

Room Tip: Look for rooms in the higher floors ask for garden facing rooms if you don't want to hear the st...

We stayed at the hotel 3 times as our base in Kathmandu during our recent nepal trip. Location is central and there's a supermarket across the road from the hotel. Tap water is not drinkable and we bought many bottles of water from the supermarket. The Asan Tol local market is also within walking distance, about 15 minutes walk. Rooms on the 6th floor were older and air-con did not work well. Also, there's a chinese restaurant on the 7th floor and therefore quite noisy. The rooms on the 3rd floor were better - cleaner and AC works well. We ate most meals at the hotel - lunches and dinners, and food is good with nepali, chinese and indian food. Staff is friendly and upon our complaint when power for the AC was down, they brought an electric fan to our room. Although rooms are old, they are clean and bedsheets and beds are clean. Bed covers are dirty and old and we keep them away in the cupboards. Bathroom condition is adequate.

Room Tip: Choose rooms on the third floor. Fifth room also acceptable.

I stayed there with my wife there on our way to and from the trekking to Everest base camp. A cheap hotel, rather poor rooms with private bath. Our room had been desinfected with naphtaline and the smell was awful, so after waking up with headache, we complained and moved to a new one, this time with smell of cigars. The worst was the noisy background during the night. I would reccomend this hotel only if there is no alternative.
