I have visited Namaste every time that I have returned to Kathmandu. You have to walk up several flights of wooden stairs until you reach the cafe. You can sit inside at low traditional tables, or outside on an uncovered balcony over looking the street. Whenever I go to Namaste, I have the regular, which is Ghorka beer and shisha, followed by Momo's, the Nepali specialty. You can have them fried or boiled. The Momos I have had at Namaste are the best that I have found so far. Namaste, is not a large cafe and this creates a friendly environment where you can meet other travellers and locals alike. It also offers free wifi incase you wish to be anti-social. Namaste doesn't only offer local cuisine but international cuisine , for those who are scared of spices. There is also a local band that plays live music in the cafe. Namaste is a relaxing place to hang out, eat delicious local food, sup local beer and watch the world pass by. I will definitely be returning!
