Description: This restaurant has been only open for 4 months and is right next to my hotel - Hotel Premium on Paknajol, Thamel - Kathmandu. The cuisine is fantastic but it's also a great place for tourists to mix with locals. Also it has brilliant brewed coffee and incredibly friendly staff. I have photos also if that helps your validation process and the email address of the manager, but this place is too good not to be featured on tripadvisor. Happy to assist with any further information/questions

“A hidden gem”

This place takes an effort to find, which means it's of the beaten track, and worth the detour.
The bonus of this is that it's quiet and exclusive without the price tag.
The food is the best we have had since being in Nepal, and we have been here for a long time.
You must go, but don't tell too many people because it might spoil.

“A delight!”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

We stumbled across this unassuming little cafe simply because it was a few hundred meters from our hotel, but we soon became regulars, quite a feat considering we were only in Kathmandu for a week. The chef of the place worked for ten years in Japan and so their Japanese food is incredibly authentic, try the vegetable tempura- delicate and tasty. Their prices are set at a local level and so even though the food is expensive-restaurant quality, you still only pay tiny tiny prices. The tempura only 130 rupees, and the vegetable momos (beautifully made with green pastry) a mere 70 rupees.
So impressed by this little place, the food and the genuine loveliness of the two owners made our time in Kathmandu really special
