This time had time to visit the museums and learn in detail about the Shah dynasty. The palace and monuments are closely guarded by the Royal Nepal Army (not royal anymore).

it seems every little knock has something exciting and fascinating to explore in this city, and Dhoka square is no different. you may think they they all look alike if your interest or passion in this area is not at its fullest, but take the time to research and learn before exploring and you will find a new passion in finding every little temple and exhibition that Kathmandu has to offer.

You really feel like you have been thrown back in time, what a great place to experience what KTM is all about. Definately a must see, although you could be here for hours! Lots to take in. Recommend bringing lots of water and a spare roll SD card!! You not only take photos but need to take a video to really capture it all

Some part of the square is under renovation. The best part of this place is the museum. It is interesting and worth visiting. You need to have time to go walk through the palace museum.
