“Peace Peace Peace”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2014

Right in the heart of Kathmandu the capital of Nepal this ancient palace square is a must visit for all travelers. The square is filled with large number of temples of over 250 years old. A great place for photo session. Once a meeting point for the hippys. A pleasant walk in the by lanes gives you a real taste of Kathmandu.

The square shows all kinds of temple, the price was a bit high to get in.

“So Nepal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 23, 2014

This is the typical city of this kind of Asia countries, Bikes, Motobikes, cows, chickens, people, street markets, people talking, beggers... You will find it quite interesting for a while... if you are a quite person, you will be overwhelmed after a while.
PLease note the carvings at the ceiling of the temples at Durbar... most of them refers to sexual positions!
Try to go upstairs to the main temple (In front of the Kumari Palace) and try to catch an excellent view of this vibrant square

“Busy traffic not tourist ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2014 via mobile

It's must see in Kathmandu, but the could fit it more for tourism, there is a lot of "guides" wanting to show you around,
The traffic is driving right through it, and the rickshaws is almost pulling in you.
The museum was kind of good and it's a lot of nice architecture !
