A place to wander, sit down and watch the crowds - listen to the temple bells - even light a candle at a shrine and have a tika on your forehead topped off with marigold petals in your hair.

“Just average”

I think the entrance fee was way too expensive for foreigners. It was Rs 7,500 per person although it can be used for 3 day but you've got to bring a passport sized photo to get a stamp.
Being at Patan Durbar Square about a week ago, I think they're almost the same & alike to each other. Besides they were full with locals who can enter the site for free!
