Stayed at this hotel with my partner prior to trekking the Khumbu region and Everest Base Camp.
As we were part of a group that uses the hotel constantly we were accommodated reasonably well, but not what I would have expected from a Radisson Hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and restaurant staff were a little more talkative.
The hotel rooms appear to be one of two types, either a modernised room or a much more conventional dark wooden flooring and furniture type. Having stayed in both I must say that they are acceptably clean.
The hotel is situated in an area that is being upgraded and the roads at the time of visiting were terrible, dusty and potholed, Should be good once they are completed. There is a supermarket within a few minutes of the front lobby that sells almost anything so very useful.
