A real Hindu temple, simple, a little dirty but no hassel. It is believed to be very old and the usual wonder is how such a large stone, which is not local, came to this place.

Small temple where to stop before a nice hike in the National Park, a small oasis of nature after the noisy and always intense experience of Kathmandu.

Nothing but a large stone statue of Lord Vishnu sleeping on a bed of snakes on water. The water in the pond appeared dirty. The premises surrounding the pond were also not properly maintained. The access road to the site was almost nonexistent, full of potholes. Was disappointing after an expensive & bumpy taxi ride. Good only for staunch devotees.........

I enjoyed visiting the place, and have been there twice. I spent some hours just observing people coming and going.

It is a small complex with the main attraction of the sleeping Vishnu, a very interesting and beutiful sculpure in the middle of a pool. Many priests and fortune tellers are in the area. It takes only few minutes to visit all the area.
