Namaste and Greetings from Peak Point !!!

We thank you for sharing about your stay at Peak Point Hotel and we are glad that you had enjoyed your stay with us.

Though a budget hotel, we, our team at Peak Point, take pride in delivering great value to our guest and would be delighted to go the extra mile to create a great experience for our guest.
Breakfast, we do have a few options, although simple and basic, it does kick start your adventurous day. However, we regret that we are unable to provide you with toiletries such as hair and body shampoos as these products are considered luxurious.

We thank you for choosing to stay with us and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Situated behind one of the main street of Thamel, this Hotel is in the middle of the place to be in Kathmandu and far enough to enjoy a chilling and quiet night. Even if Kathmandu is a very big and still developping city the view from the Hotel let you appreciate the beautifull Nepalli sunrise.
After two weeks traveling around Nepal this Hotel have for me some of the best quality room, including hot water any time, TV, comfortable beds and a free WIFI access, if you are lucky you could even have a room with a nice balcony.
The price is very cheap according to the quality and the staff is very nice and attentive to your need.
The owner of the Hotel also have a travelling agency at the reception of the Hotel where you can planify all your tripp to Nepal at again very resonable prices.
I recommand you this Hotel wherever you are going with a group or alone, surely one of the best place to start your Nepali tripp!

Room Tip: One of the room have a big balcony where you can enjoy the sunrise in the morning, the room to choos...

Your options for accommodation in Nepal are limited by the very nature of the country. In Kathmandu, most hotels are similar, but always go for ones that guarantee a constant supply of hot water and some form of electricity.

Peak Point has good, constantly on-tap hot water. The rooms are decent, well appointed and clean. The food is average, but the again, there are countless options outside the hotel. Electricity of some sort is available at various times in the day, though expect to charge your devices somewhere else because when it's gone, it's gone. The hotel guarantees at least some light in your room when the power's out, which is amazing.

The one drawback is the location. As the power goes out, nearby night clubs switch to generators which are extremely noisy and can be annoying if you plan on sleeping before midnight (everything shuts down after midnight). Add to that the noise from the actual night club dwellers (very bad karaoke) and an early night's sleep becomes impossible.

Otherwise, it's a good place to stay. The staff are polite and helpful and it's very central to the rest of Thamel.

Room Tip: The higher it is, the more likely you will be farther from the noise. Note that you'll have to u...

It's situated in Thamel with Durbar Square (world heritage site) in 15 min walking distance. Shops and travel agents are filled in this area. A good place to start your excursion in Kathmandu Valley and your journey to other regions in Nepal.

Peak point hotel is among the best of the hotels situated in Thamel, Kathmandu, with a convenient location for all to visit the shopping districts of Thamel and within walking distance to Durbar Square. People at peak point hotel are friendly and has one of the best offers for planned packages if anyone is looking to trek, raft, visit to chitwan, bhutan tours, so on and so forth. Wifi is readily available at all times as well. Rooms and lodging at peak point is comfortable with hot showers and clean environment, definitely the hotel to recommend for me!
