“Worth a Stop!”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

This is the tallest Shiva Statue in the world. It is outside KTM in the hills overlooking an amusement/water-swimming park. It is located next to a health oriented resort that is also profiled in TripAdvisor. I was on the way back from an excursion into the mountains and we stopped here. It is huge and impressive. It is a fun photo op to show off to your friends. It is a big statue. There isn't a lot else to say. I enjoyed it for a few minutes, then resumed my journey.

“Sorry not so interesting”

Tallest Shiva in the world looks better from far with the mountain at the back. U can get ure blessings from the priest. Different temple, not so lively, no admission ( yet). Maybe nice.....if u like big statues. Skip it if u dont have enough time.

“Huge”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

Nice place to visit as you feel free great being out of city area enjoying fresh air, cool environment, greenaries etc. Good place to have a bit of relax out of crowd where you can also stay and use their spa package, which I don't know much as I haven't tried it. The road going up to the kailashnath from the Kathmandu Banepa road, was really bad and I almost lost control of my car......please check it before you try to drive up there..... Still worthy to visit this.
