We stayed in this hotel for two nights (with two rooms) having read the good reviews from Tripadvisor.
It is pretty much located in the center of buzzling Thamel and we thought it would be a good choice because reviews suggested that this hotel despite sitting in the center of Thamel is relatively quiet.
Well, it was VERY noisy during both nights. There seems to be a disco in the near with loud partynoise until around 2 am and at 4am in the morning the noise of the departing treckers started. (Which seems to be caused by the loud doors and the layout of the hotel - all rooms and doors facing towards the courtyard).
The room category luxury room was spacious whereas the category standard room was tiny (with not even beeing able to have space to put a suitcase on the floor).
Both rooms had a very poor bathroom. Our tiny bathroom did not even have a mirror, the sink was hardly usable because it was too tiny. The toilet was constantly leaking and setting the bathroom under water.
The breakfast was ok and the stuff was friendly.
I guess this hotel is a good choice for small groups who want to have a convenient location for a couple of days and do not care much about ambience or a stay with a little bit of "flair".
With comparison to other hotels and bed&breakfasts we have stayed in Nepal it is more on the expensive side and an average value for money.
