We stayed for a night at an affordable price on our last day here in nepal. Breakfast is standard but you can always ask for more and its included in the room rate. Wifi is good 24hours. Service is good, staffs are attentive and friendly.

The main issue I have is the water frkm the faucet have an odd smell. We inform the reception and they said they'd look into it.

We stay in this hotel about 3 days, location is nice only few minutes walk from thamel main area and city, staff is friendly, breakfast in roof top was cheap and good, we had to pay 3300 Rupees per night when average price is 2500 Rupees, anyway room was clean and had 24 hours free Internet wifi, so no complain, they have elevator also, that is a plus! Only problem we had is frequently electric cut down, which had nothing to do with hotel I guess, overall good hotel and service, thank you Crishna for managing our Pokhara trip, will definitely come back again.

Ps: Something wrong with water in toilet, color is yellow, please solve this ASAP.

The hotel is clean and the location is good.
The room rate include free breakfast on the roof top, simple but taste great.
The free airport pick up service is also convenient for budget travellers. There is also wifi availble, but it's not stable. The power cut-off is an issue for us because it's too hot for us to sleep.
We also booked the 3 days 2 nights package to Chitwan national park and had a wonderful time there. Over all, it's a great vale for budget travellers. Will recommend this hotel to my friends.

Linda

Room description:

The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, had a large window and it was reasonably clean.
We stayed during monsoon period (june) when the weather can get quite warm but the temperature inside the room was nice.
The bathroom was also clean but it gets all wet because the shower is not separated from the toilet or wash basin and it doesn't have shower curtain (this is very common in bathrooms in Nepalese hotels).

Facilities:

Hot water was available 24 hours.
Wi-fi signal was good and worked even during power cuts (which happen everywhere in Nepal).
They had some basic lighting in bedroom and bathroom during power cuts.
Breakfast was included and had good continental and local options in the menu. Rooftop dining offered a nice view of the city but not of the mountains because of cloudy weather during our stay. Airport pick-up was arranged by the hotel. There is no elevator service.

Neighborhood:

The hotel is conveniently located for shopping and dining just within a few blocks from the hotel. The White Horse and Cha Cha cafes are decent options on the same street as the hotel. Unfortunately, the neighborhood was noisy during nights and early mornings.

Staff:

The staff were friendly in general and helpful. They could make arrangements for our travel needs very well but sometimes were too insistent to get our business for such arrangements. There are plenty of travel agencies nearby to choose the best deals from.

Overall:

It was good value for our money and our stay was good. If we visited again, we would look for another hotel (maybe little more priced).

I stay in Hotel Family Home for one night. The room is clean and big enough and the service is also good. The waiters are very kind and friendly.

Shortage: Room Rate is a little high compare with others in Themel. There are much noice in the early morning and impact the sleep.

Dear Guest,
Namaste and regards ,Thank you very much for your valuable time to write the comment about us here on this social side ,i am very happy to read your comment and concern about your felling as well
I am glad to hera that you like our room size /staffs /storage service and more but sorry to hear about your feeling about the room cost ,i can not remember how much you paid for the room ,our tariff is over 40$ for the deluxe room and over 25$ for standard …its the rate for peak season but as you were with us in offseason time ,i guess you have paid about 25$ for deluxe room which is very good price for the service you got ,anyway if you come to us again we will make you better deal and sorry about noise in the morning from the roof because of the breakfast ,soon we are going to make the breakfast place on the ground flower after that further guest will not have the same problem like you had
once again thank you soo much for your comment
