The Boudhanath Stupa is another Visit worthy Temple. It is also a World Heritage Site. They say you need to go around the Stupa to wash away your sins. Entrance fee is 400 Rupees.

The ticket entrance costs 400 rupi (not really expensive) and the place is amazing. Outside is really crowd but when you get inside there is really quiet and peaceful.
However is pleanty of boutiques to buy things and the temple is at the middle of the square.
Also you have the change to go on the terrace and take beautiful picture

Stupa Boudanath is one of the main sites in Kathmandu and not to be missed. The Stupa itself is a massive construction and a centre of worship at any time of the day with the faithful walking round and round, clockwise, spinning the prayer wheels as they worship. The Stupa is at the centre of an area with endless shops, cafes, painting schools etc. The area is buzzing day and night and is a fantastic place to people watch with a number of cafes with roof top terraces which are just the place for an evening meal and watch the sun set over the Stupa. Rather than go through the main entrance from the main road go a little further along and enter through the small alleyway to avoid tourist charges for entry.

Very hot day but plenty of shade available. Surrounded by souvenir shops, artist schools and beautiful restaurants and just seconds from busy road but feels like an oasis.
