Owner description: The Garden of Dreams, a neo classical historical garden, is situated in the midst of Kathmandu city, Nepal. The Garden's design has much in common with formal European gardens: paved perimeter paths, punctuated by pavilions, trellises, and various planting areas, surrounded by a sunken flower garden with a large pond at its center. It is an architectural landscape that encourages the visitor to stroll around and discover the Garden's treasures from many different vantage points.

I enjoyed going to the Garden of Dreams in the centre of Kathmandu, although it was a lot smaller than what I imagined. It is a beautiful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu valley.

You have to find this place. Tranquility away from the madness. Nice lunches available. If you have to spend more than a few days in Kathmandu then you will need to come here!

if you're looking for an escape from the crowded and noisy streets of kathmandu... this is a quiet and serene place. not a bad spot to have a coffee and cake, but don't eat in the restaurant! it's food roulette - some of the dishes were fine but several of them were frankly terrible. better to save your appetite for fire&ice across the street, which is always delicious!

The garden was nearby so we dropped by, the garden was just average, but quiet, good hang out for a peaceful afternoon.
