Very good environment but it's the only restaurant that charges for Wifi in Thamel. We ordered a chicken and a beef. The special dish chicken is very tender and tastes good. Beef is a bit over-cooked, but given local usually don't eat beef and it's still the best beef I had in Nepal, I would rate it above-average. I would recommend you go to the 2nd floor and you need to take off your shoes and sit on floor. Not really comfortable but an interesting experience.

This place is awesome! the staff was able to accommodate our group of 15 on our last day in Kathmandu. We were seated in the back room, were we all got to share the low tables while sitting on cushions on the floor. Remember to remove your shoes! the staff was amazing, the bartender even compted us raksi shots for the entire party, and even the couple sitting near us!

We have tried several restaurants in Kathmandu after we came back from the Everest Trekking tour eating lots of noodle soup.
Having been to "The road house", "Dilema Garden", "Third Eye" and "La Dolce Vita" we (a group of 4) decided that this tasty Indian Restaurant is number one out of the before mentioned. The location is nice, the staff is very friendly and the food is absolutely fantastic.
It was not the last one that I have been there.

Keep going guys....

We tried Third Eye because we were told they had the best naan in Kathmandu. They definitely did not disappoint. We had the Paneer and the Aloo Kashmiri both of which were phenomenal and very flavourful. The naan is amazing, warm and fresh. Drink prices are a bit high but alcohol is pricey everywhere in Kathmandu. Prices for food are a bit higher than other restaurants nearby but it's by no means a tourist trap, and what you pay for you get in ambience. Our dishes were around $5 each. We had a pot of jasmine tea for cheap. The seating area in the back is much cooler than the tables up front. It's low tables and pillows and low lighting. We loved the experience. Would go back again.

Had a good experience here whilst in Thamel. We were shown through to the relaxed back room which features low tables and cushions and a laid back vibe. Initially quiet, but steadily filled up during the night. We had one Nepali, one Indian dish with some side dishes and it was all hot, top quality food especially the Indian food, subtly and cleverly spiced. The red wine, ordered slightly hesitantly was very drinkable and enhanced the food. Service was slow but this was no problem as we had nowhere else to rush off to. Would definately eat here again.
