Great food. At least 4 people are serving you at the same time. We took the 6 serving meal and it was lots of food. just image the 9 serving or more. Atmosphere is very traditional, but with style and grace. Feel like a king & a queen and enjoy a royal Nepali meal.

It is a must visit hotel if you are in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is one of the only heritage hotel in Nepal which is well maintained and managed. It is also one of the favourite hotels for many celebrities and renowned leaders of the world. You will see their pictures in the corridors. The suites are beautiful and spacious with beautiful furnitures. I am sure the stay here would be one of the sweetest memories of Nepal

You don't need to stay here to go inside and have a look. This is one man's attempt to preserve the best of (and rapidly disappearing) Nepali traditional architecture and culture. Go inside, take photos and enjoy a cup of coffee on the terrace. This is an amazing hotel.

We went for the 9-course vegetarian menu. Although i had booked this in advance, our personalised menus showed a 6-course menu - it was quote annoying trying to sort this out. The staff could also not understand that my husband did not like mushrooms! We were quite full by the time the mains came - the mains were not so great, we had better dal bhaat on the mountains. This restaurant is very very expensive. Although we enjoyed it, i dont think we would go back again.
