This place caters too much to Zambians. What do I mean by that? Nothing offensive, but the standard humility one expects of a professional management staff to the clientele is noticeably absent at businesses that mostly serve Zambians and this place is no exception. When I arrived at 1am I was led to the dorm by the acting manager at that hour who promptly turned on the lights inside causing the several would be sleepers to wince and roll over to shield themselves from the light. I could see perfectly fine without the lights on so I hurriedly dropped my bag at the nearest available bed and stepped outside to sign in and pay. The manager was the last out the door and shut it without even bothering to turn off the lights. I had to ask him to.
That was just the first sign that I wouldn't like this place. I also picked up bed bugs from sleeping here. That's probably the biggest demerit.
I'd avoid the restaurant as well. On every table there was at least one dead fly. If the staff sprays so much insecticide in the dining area that flies instantly succumb upon touching the table cloth then I don't even want to think about how much residual insecticide I've been exposed to by eating there. Not that you'd want to eat there. I tried the omelette. It seemed safe. I mean how can you screw up an omelette? Well, they'll show you how. It was like eating a sponge soaked with oil that's been saturated with salt. I couldn't take but a few bites.
Avoid this place!
