Description: Sugarbush Cafe operates alongside Jackal & Hide Shop at Sugarbush Farm. Our aim is to provide a friendly family orientated location away from the bustle of town where you can shop for handmade leather goods, interiors and jewellery and enjoy delicious homemade fresh food including Organic Salads, Sunday Roasts, Pastas, Steaks, Burgers and a Kid's Menu in a safe and friendly rural location. The Cafe is under new management and your hosts Pat Chapple and Julia Tunney are working hard to re-establish a friendly neighbourhood location that meets the needs of our visitors from all over Lusaka and internationally. They've set up a great little deli-store selling the very best of Zambia's home grown artisan foods and basic provisions so that you can take home the freshest ingredients for your next meal once you've eaten your delicious lunch at the Sugarbush Cafe. Every month there are sundowner functions and small events to watch out for and we are always happy to book private parties at this lovely venue. We look forward to seeing you enjoying a meal, a coffee or a glass of wine, browsing the delicatessen, picking fresh veggies in the garden or trying a new handbag on for size. It's a great day out for the whole family at Sugarbush Farm

Excellent coffee, great food, nice area for kids to play and good shopping for the grown-ups. Perfect for a relaxing weekend jaunt.

“ok food!”
Reviewed May 30, 2014

The place is definitely overrated as I've eaten there a few times and the food is just OK! The last time I was there, I was given a wrong bill which had my orders mixed up with someone's bill, only after making a fuss did the Manager come to sort out the problem and he later apologized that the staff were still being trained.

The gardens are lovely but I would suggest they use a fly repellent as there are loads of flies probably due to the horses nearby.

“A super spot!”
Reviewed May 24, 2014

We had a lovely breakfast at Sugarbush. The service was good and the food really tasty. Highly recommended if you want to have a meal out of Lusaka. Our children had great fun in the play area, and enjoyed their meal.

“Nice with friends”
Reviewed May 24, 2014

Sugarbush cafe is a nice place for a long Sunday lunch with friends. Food in general is good and service, despite the little hiccups in busy hours, is good. It would be nice though if the breakfast manu was available later on Sundays for a complete brunch experience.

“Delicious food, refreshingly good cocktails and beautiful setting!”
Reviewed May 19, 2014

Amazing new menu, with good veggie options! As always the venue is a lovely, relaxing setting, and now this is a new bistro-style venue for Lusaka which shouldn't be missed... a must-visit for any length of stay in Lusaka. Perfect for any week day or weekend, shopping and brunch/lunch with cocktails?! Very happy!
