My wife and I stayed here as it seemed a reasonable return for the money payed. We were incredibly disappointed with our stay. This is my second time to this wonderful country and both my wife and I have travelled around Africa quite a lot.
Firstly the front desk service was very poor and unfriendly. The swimmingpool was totally out of action and this was a bitter disappointment as a dip after a busy day is most welcome.
Secondly, when we tried to complain about a few things there was no senior management about and ended getting 3-4 different stories.
Thirdly, as we were organising a group of 14, most found the service so slow and disorganised. The staff, mainly the waiters, were excellent and tried so hard to help and accommodate us but it was sooooo slow and this was even after we pre ordered our food so as not to over run them when we arrived. Alas it was of little help and all but me got the dreaded upset stomachs from the food. It was a real shame as this could be a great place if the senior management could pull their fingers out and listen to their customs.
