6 of us for a fine class dinner. 3 had steak, 1 had quail and 2 fish. Relaxed ambience sitting al fresco in the open air. Service a bit slow and the waiter was confused. We had to explain to him a few times what we wanted. They could do with upgrading the quality of the waiting staff I think.
But the food, superb. The steaks were agreed by all as possibly among the best they had ever had. Fillet, not an ounce of grissle or fat, beautifully cooked in a peppercorn sauce. Tender and melt in your mouth. Excellent choice, and deserts also.
The restaurant is well situated in a complex on the Gaaba Rd just along from the US Embassy, easy parking and good security. With the added bonus of a patisserie next door and the best butcher in Kampala on site too.
Train up your waiting staff to better serve the expat community that has higher expectations.
