“A long smoggy trip to reach there.”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

The guide gave a nice explanation of the place, but focused on selling paintings. The tombs of the kings were not to be seen, onley of the relatieven. Not worth while for crossing this dirty and crowed city with an absent traffic-plan.

“Interestingly boring”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

The tombs are OK, worth a visit if you have nothing better to do. But please, do not go there if you only have a couple of days in Kampala. Do the other things first!

“Beautiful and Unique A Historical artifact”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

I first visited the Kasubi tombs in 2002. I love the way the tomb was built, the architectural buildingds in straws and bind by straws and held up by poles. there were guides at that time who will tell you the ancient royal stories. But it is so sad that an accident occurred and the whole place was burnt down. A real historical artifact.

Kasubi Tombs one of the endangered cultural heritage sites in Uganda, by the time i visited the main house had been put ablaze but thanks to the reconstruction underway to raise the tombs to better standards.
