I stayed here for more than a month, so got to know the place well.
On the plus side: the rooms are as other reviewers have noted clean and big and the beds are enormous; front desk staff are very helpful. It's generally a very quiet place.
But....
Internet worked maybe 3-4 days during the whole period I was there.
Many of the dishes on the menu are rarely if ever available, preparation takes much too long and there were many mistakes.
The owner promises improvements, a new chef and professional management so I look forward to seeing if there will be improvements.
Oh and if you are not married and wish to have guests in the room, you're out of luck. What they call "Christian values" are strictly enforced, to the point that heated discussions about whether a guest is a "good Christian" for questioning this policy ensue.

For $70 for a twin room this seemed cheap and so expectations were not high. But on arrival we were welcomed warmly. The rooms were clean, airconditioned and carpeted (a first in Uganda) - really comfortable. The pool was small but clean.

I would quite happily stay here again - good by any standards.

Room Tip: Room 112 had mosquito nets

Located in Bugolobi, very good value for money, spotless, quiet. There's a small swimming pool and gym. Breakfast is generous and you get a good selection of fresh fruit, bread, omelettes. Have also had several meals and they were acceptable to good, everything is home-made and I really appreciate it. Been here twice and experienced some technical difficulties during my last stay (internet & DSTV), but everything possible has been done in order to tackle the problems ASAP.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet and pleasant

A peaceful and restful hotel in upmarket Bugolobi that is attentive to clients. Has large rooms with a good bed and linen. Toileteries are basic but there is hot water. Breakfasts are good. Dinners done on order and also very good; have huge servings of fresh fruit and juices. Reasonably priced @$70 for single B&B. A bit far from the main road and city centre but if you enjoy walking, there is a nice stretch to that.

Room Tip: Room facing the swimming pool are sunny
