The food is good, but small portions, and prices that make you look twice. The atmosphere is nice, service pleasant, but the last two times I ate there I left disappointed at the amount I paid.

Thank Shelly B

Le Chateau is a classy restaurant located near Kabalagala. The food is very good, most notably the steak and other meat dishes, but most importantly they have a nice selection of Belgian beers and fantastic desserts. Do expect to expect to pay for this quality, but certainly worth a dinner trip here on special occasions. Le Chateau is part of a complex that contains a hotel (Hotel Le Petite Village), a butchery, and bakery all Belgian-themed and highly recommended by this writer.

I've been visiting Quality Cuts / Le Chateau Restaurant for over ten years and they have one of the best kitchen in Kampala. The food is delicious. They also have a butchery that offers everything, but their take-away sandwiches are the best.

We were a party of six for a special lunch and we had a terrific meal at Le Chateau. The menu was excellent but we decided to share a meat fondue and were not disappointed. Great service. Great food.

Thanks to the Belgian butcher owning Le Village (the restaurant, the butcher's shop and other venues all on Gaba Road) this place deserves the title above. I ate here twice, once a normal steak and once the Mexican/Cowboy steak which were both lovely. The food is pretty expensive but worth it once you're longing for some nice meat week after week. Heaven for true carnivores!
