The food here is generally quite good. The sweet and sour pork was excellent as was the hot and sour soup. Other items tended to be good, but not quite on the level one might expect from a really good and traditional chinese place. However, given the constraints imposed by the location (West Africa) and how that complicates the task of getting the relevant ingredients, I think the owners are doing an amazing job, and it is clear that they work very hard at making their place as good as it can be.
The service is kind and attentive, but a bit disorganized. At each meal we had there at least one thing we ordered did not arrive and at least two dishes which we did not order appeared instead. So, one must be prepared to go with the flow and try something new. So long as you do not arrive with western-style expectations, I think you should have an excellent experience.
